Airport Transfer

Traveling from Denpasar Airport to Grand Hyatt Bali in Nusa Dua is approximately 30minutes, depending on traffic. We recommend either of the four below methods for your journey:

By Taxi: Taxis are readily available at Denpasar Airport. Make sure to use the official taxi services available at the airport to ensure a safe and comfortable ride.

By Pre-Paid Taxi: Avoid the crowd and pre-pay a taxi when you land at the airport. There are taxi booths whilst exiting the airport that have pre-determined fares based on your destination. Pay for your taxi here and a driver will be allocated to you.

By Grab: Grab is South East Asia's version of 'Uber'. We recommend you download the app and create your account before arriving in Indonesia. Please note that you will need mobile data to book a grab via the app when you arrive, so can only be done once purchasing a sim card. Grab's tend to be cheaper than Taxi's.

By Private Transfer: For a hassle-free experience, we recommend arranging a private transfer through the Grand Hyatt Bali. Their professional drivers will greet you at the airport and provide a comfortable and direct ride to the resort. To book a private transfer, please contact our concierge team in advance. Please find more information here.

A VISA is required to enter Indonesia.

  1. For most travellers, including those attending our conference, a simple Visit Visa (also known as visa on arrival) will be sufficient. Please ensure that you check your country's entry requirements via this list here.
For a Visit Visa (VoA), you can now apply online to beat the line at the airport, which we strongly encourage all of our attendees to do.

  2. Travellers from countries that are not eligible for a Visa on Arrival must apply for a 211A Visa before arrival. Please find more information on this process here. Ensure that you leave up to 2 weeks in advance for this approval process.

  3. Citizens ASEAN citizens do not need a Visa. Please see the list of ASEAN countries here.

Tourism Levy

As of February 2024, Indonesia has introduced a Tourism Levy of 150,000IDR ($9.50USD) upon arrival. Again, this can be organised and paid for in advance which we strongly encourage.

  1. Visit the government website and fill in your information and payment details.

  2. Your levy voucher will be sent to your email. Be sure to enter a correct and active email address.

  3. Scan your voucher at the checkout points upon arrival at the airport in Indonesia.
